CRT2302 Techniques to teach core operations in primary maths
Curriculum, Literacy and Numeracy
The Australian Curriculum: Mathematics includes the proficiencies of understanding, fluency, problem-solving and reasoning to promote student learning and independence in Mathematical tasks. These proficiencies enable students to respond to familiar and unfamiliar situations by employing mathematical strategies to make informed decisions and solve problems efficiently. An experienced and expert Primary Maths teacher will demonstrate the approach they use in the classroom to promote student success across the range of Mathematics proficiencies. It will be particularly helpful for those CRTs who have limited experience in Mathematics teaching.
