CRT2234 Teaching writing skills

The Victorian Curriculum: English F-10 describes writing as ‘the active process of conceiving, planning, composing, editing and publishing a range of texts … using appropriate language for particular purposes or occasions, both formal and informal, to express and represent ideas and experiences, and to reflect on these aspects’. It is a complex skill to master well and the greater your repertoire of teaching writing skills, the better you will be equipped to support students across all year levels and subjects. The presenter is an experienced writing teacher – learn some new techniques to add to your toolkit.
